The fourth transnational project meeting marked the transition from developing ECOTEACH’s digital tools to pilot implementation in schools. The Virtual Classroom, electronic database and hands-on learning activities are entering their final stage, with the pilot phase planned for October and November 2026.
The third transnational meeting concluded the project’s first year and launched its digital phase. Partners confirmed completion of the theoretical and competence frameworks, advanced the Virtual Classroom and planned pilot implementation with learners who have fewer opportunities.
Partners reviewed progress across all work packages, including the learning outcomes framework, multilingual Virtual Classroom, pilot planning and dissemination. The consortium reaffirmed its commitment to inclusive, sustainable STEM education through Environment-Based Learning.
Representatives of all partner organisations met online to coordinate progress, review responsibilities and pending deliverables, integrate the Sustainable Development Goals into science teaching and prepare the initial framework for the ECOTEACH Virtual Classroom.
The first transnational meeting brought together the five partner organisations to agree on the project timetable, responsibilities and initial actions. Discussions focused on teacher competences, the Virtual Classroom and the structure of the practical ECOTEACH Toolkit.
The Directorate of Secondary Education of Lasithi announces the ECOTEACH Erasmus+ project, which promotes innovative Environment-Based Learning for science and mathematics, with particular support for small, remote and disadvantaged schools.
